Yesterday for day 66, I covered a Pro Bowl offensive tackle that dominated while at Virginia. Today for day 65, I’ll be highlighting an offensive lineman that the Ravens took in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Tyler Linderbaum was a 3 star defensive tackle recruit out of Solon High School in Solon, Iowa. Linderbaum was a standout two way player along with being an immaculate wrestler. He accepted an offer to play at Iowa over Minnesota and Iowa State.
Linderbaum played for the Hawkeyes from 2018 to 2021 and moved from defense to offense in 2019 where he started all 13 games at center. As a returning starter in 2020, Linderbaum dominated and was named First Team All Big Ten.
In his final season in 2021, Linderbaum progressed being named First Team All Big Ten, All American, and to the Rimington-Pace Offensive Line while also winning the Rimington Award. The Ravens selected him 25th overall in the 2022 NFL Draft.
