Yesterday for day 72 I highlighted a center from Boston College that went undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft. Today for day 71, I’ll be covering an offensive lineman that played college ball at Kansas State.
Dalton Risner was a 3 star recruit out of Wiggins High School in Wiggins, Colorado. He held offers from Colorado, Cal, and Missouri, but accepted a full ride to play for Kansas State.
Risner played at Kansas State from 2014 to 2018 and started in 50 out of 51 games. From 2016 to 2018, Risner was named First Team All Big 12. His most decorated season was in 2018 when he earned First Team All Big 12 honors, First Team All American, and was Big 12 Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year.
He would go onto be drafted in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos and has started 47 of 47 games. Tomorrow for day 70, I’ll cover another Alabama offensive tackle.
