79 Days Until The College Football Season Kicks
Out of the 80's.
Yesterday we ended the 80’s with a former ACC pass catcher. Now today for day 79, we stay in the ACC and cover an offensive lineman that currently plays for the Bengals.
Jackson Carman was a 4 star recruit coming out of Fairfield Senior High School in Fairfield, Ohio. He was the number one recruit in the state of Ohio and held offers from Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Penn State, but committed to Clemson.
From 2018 to 2020 under Dabo Swinney, Carman was a key factor in the Tigers success. He played in 40 career games, starting the final 27 games of his career in purple and orange. He was integral in Clemson winning 3 ACC titles and making the College Football Playoff three years in a row.
His play earned him Second Team All ACC in 2019 and First Team All ACC in 2020. Carman was selected in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Bengals and saw some time on Cincinnatis Super Bowl run. Tomorrow for day 78 we look at a monster in the trenches from Minnesota.
