A.J. Ferrari flashed the finger guns to the limited crowd in St. Louis, MO after he beat the number one seed at 197, Myles Amine from Michigan.
I think that the only person more fired up than A.J. was his father Albert James. He was clapping and fist pumping as he watched his son fake spike his head gear and flex for the Oklahoma State fans.
The Oklahoma State freshman phenom, rode Myles Amine for the entire third period and showed off his mental toughness as he baited Amine into racking up caution penalties. Ferrari won 5-1.
After the match, in his post match interview, Ferrari carried his energy. He flexed into the camera and made it known to the wrestling community that he deadlifts 665 pounds.
Tomorrow night, Ferrari will face off against the number six seed, Nino Bonaccorsi out of Pittsburgh who won his semifinals match 4-1.
I absolutely love the energy and antics that Mr. Fast Twitch, A.J. Ferrari brings to every match in which he wrestles. Whether it’s a packed house or empty arena, Ferrari brings out the fireworks.
My prediction for tomorrow night is Ferrari wins his first of many National Titles. I think he’ll beat Bonaccorsi 8-3 and look great from his feet.
