Berserker Billy Beats The Roid Rat
Barstool Sports intern, Billy Football beats former MLB player Jose Canseco in Rough N' Rowdy.
Pardon My Take intern, Billy Football maybe the butt of many jokes on the show but, tonight, he is a God damn champion. He jumped on Jose Canseco off the first bell and put that baby in a corner. Canseco, a known steroid user and snitch, claims that his shoulder was torn prior to the fight, causing him to wave the white flag early.
Why would Canseco take the fight knowing his shoulder was torn prior? Many would say it’s because, he is short on cash, not me but, many others. I tore my shoulder my senior year of high school and if Jose really thought that he could take an absolute stallion like Billy Football the distance with a bum shoulder, he was either stupid, broke, or most like both.
A long running rivalry between Pardon My Take host, Big Cat and Canseco is what led to the fight and when Big Cat declined the fight and put his intern Billy up to the task, a new rivalry was born. Canseco, age 56, is a washed up MLB star that has needle marks all along his ass and while he was a whole lot bigger than Billy Football, he moves very robotically and never stood a chance.
In Canseco’s 2005 tell all, he claimed that he was a “chemist” and personally injected many players including Mark McGwire, Rafael Palmeiro, Juan Gonzalez, Ivan Rodriguez and Jason Giambi. This is where is Roid Rat nickname comes from and the hatred from Barstool personalities like Big Cat, PFT, and Frank the Tank Fleming.
Heading into the fight, Billy posted videos training like a mad man and warning Jose that he shouldn’t step in the ring. On the other hand, Jose did a sit down interview with Barstool personality, Caleb Pressley and said that he would break Billy’s ribs. That was not the case when Billy secured the win in the first round.
Now that the fight is over, Jose has scurried out of the arena to leave West Virginia with his check from the fight, that he did not earn. This fight and the way Billy defended his coworkers at Barstool Sports will forever make him a legend in Rough N’ Rowdy, the New York office, and will live rent free in Jose Canseco’s head for the rest of that snitches days.
