Bye Bye Bookie
Oklahoma defensive back, Radley Hiles has entered the transfer portal and will no longer be a Sooner.
One of the most overhyped recruits over the past ten years will be transferring from Oklahoma University and will be missing tackles and blowing coverages at another power five college. Somehow, Radley Hiles has been a starter for the meat of his career as a Sooner which is baffling to me and if we’re being honest, this dude should be playing 1-AA ball because, he has no business trying to lock down power five athletes.
While Bookie has some of the best drip in all of football, he is scared of competition. Word coming out of Norman, Oklahoma is that Radley Hiles was no longer going to be starting for the Sooners. The same way Daniel Imatorbhebhe switched to four different schools to dodge competition, we are seeing it here with Bookie.
This transfer also, matches a pattern that Radley Hiles went through in high school. He played for IMG Academy, Bishop Gorman, and Calabasas. It’s not that shocking that he’s on his way out of Oklahoma.
A possible landing spot for Bookie could be at a few smaller colleges like East Carolina University who are losing former four star corner Nigel Knott or at another AAC school like Tulane who is anther former four star in Kyle Meyers.
If Radley Hiles is going to play in a power five conference next season it will be the PAC 12. Two landing spots out west that’d make sense for Bookie to play poorly would be Oregon or USC. This feels like a very PAC 12 pickup because, of the flash and dash that comes with Radley Hiles. Maybe, in a good system, like Oregon he could turn is play around big time and become a first round pick.
Wherever Bookie lands, I am curious to see how he will play. Maybe, being in Oklahoma has been a hindrance on his play or maybe, he’s just bad.
