Oh wow, what’s up? Haven’t seen you readers since last year.

I wish I could add a laugh track to the blog, but I don’t have that ability so I hope you enjoyed the mediocre joke.

I have some goals for the new year retaining to the blog and podcast that I figured I would share with you guys as my first blog of 2022.

For the podcast, I have a goal to reach two hundred episodes when 2023 rolls around. I’m writing this a bit in advance so we’re at episode one hundred and seventeen so we’d have to upload two a week which we are very capable of.

Along with that, I love the guests that we have on the show and I want to keep the connections I have, but I want to try to land some bigger guests for interviews because these types of guests help build our listeners and grow the brand.

When we had Jeff Nadu or Will Levis on this past year, they were two of our biggest episodes.

Now with the blog, I’m setting a goal to put up at least one blog per day. 365 days straight with at least one blog put into your inbox. Some days, like the NFL Draft, NCAA Wrestling Championships, and other newsworthy days will call for two to three in that day, but my goal is to have at least one put out a day.

I also want to do more series. I plan to finish up my Apple Music Countdown as I have a few more articles left in that series.

Reviewing My 2021 Apple Music Replay; 100-91
While 2021 may not be over yet, the start of December cues everyone with Spotify and Apple Music to post their most listened to songs, albums, and artists. So, I went and checked my Apple Music Replay and there was some surprise, but not much. My top five artists on the year were Spose by a country mile, Kanye West, Cam Groves, MC Lars, and Jack Harlow…

In addition to that, I’m going to continue my Spose Saturdays along with getting back to my MC Lars Mondays and starting a new series called Specs Sunday where I review a JR Specs song.

MC Lars Monday; Ahab
For all of my readers, you’ve been around for Spose Saturdays so I wanted to start a new series that is similar to Spose Saturday, MC Lars Monday. Andrew Neilson, also known as MC Lars is a jack of all trades. He’s a rapper, producer, teacher, cartoonist, and podcaster. He’s hosted his own TED Talk and is the founder and CEO of the Horris Records which …

Spose Saturday
After having the opportunity to interview the King of Maine, I realized that each of his songs are put out for a reason. While I already knew that he told stories through his music, I never understood how deep the songs were. The point of this series is to highlight the small verses in his songs that may get overlooked and then view the full meaning of …

I’m not sure what other new series on here will be, but I will have new ideas that you readers will surely enjoy.

My final goal for 2022 is that I want to work for Barstool Sports in some capacity by the end of the year. Whether I’m a blogger, some type of content, or full time, I want to be a Barstool Sports employee that covers division three sports, college wrestling, and nerd core hip hop.

I’m going to work my ass off this winter on the blog, podcast, and video content to try to get my name in the Barstool orbit and continue that through the year. And if I’m not hired by the end of 2022, my goal for 2023 will be to be hired by Dave Portnoy to work at Barstool.

That goal will not change whatsoever.

With that being said, Happy New Year and Happy Reading.
