Alert! Alert! This is not an April Fools joke! I am back from my week long hiatus of blogging to bring higher quality blogs to my 34 subscribers and hopefully write something that draws other people to sign up for Articles in the Office.
Something I began to notice in my writing was that I was just writing to write. I honestly believed that writing more and just regurgitating takes that I saw on ESPN about the NFL Draft or March Madness was the way to go but, it’s not.
My goal heading into 2021 was to average around 70-80 blogs per month. While this goal was met in February and I was on track for it in March, I really noticed my performance slip.
Along with my thought process of quantity over quality, I noticed my academic work load build up and had to take a step back to focus on that. Now that I believe I have found a balance between the two, I will be back to consistently blog with higher quality.
With the NFL Draft being only 28 days away, I am excited to blog about that. This years draft class has depth at every position, from quarterback to defensive back.
There have been numerous trades in the first round with teams opting to move up to hopefully land a franchise quarterback and those who have traded back that are in need of a new starting tackle.
What intrigues me most about this years draft is that it doesn’t feel as predictable as years prior. The number one pick will be Trevor Lawrence to the Jaguars but, outside of that, it feels very uncertain who the Jets will take.
If I had to guess it would be Zach Wilson out of BYU but I am not fully convinced on that.
Draft talk aside, this blog is just letting my readers know that I am back for the month of April to bring quality over quantity and I couldn’t be more fired up to do so!
