JR Specs Announces His Collaboration For Red Solo Funk
Friend of the podcast JR Specs announces the featured artist on his new song, Red Solo Funk.
Just three days ago I wrote a blog about JR’s new song, Red Solo Funk that drops next Wednesday, 4/28. In that blog, I discussed the unique marketing scheme that JR is using and how he asked his fans and followers for their guesses on who his feature was.
Well on 4/23, he announced that fellow UConn student and artist Tre Breezy was hopping on the track.
Tre, who will be joining the show next week, and JR have history of collaborating with one another. On Tre’s album “Late Nights & Cheap Mics” which came out this month, JR appeared as a feature not once, but twice. JR was on the third song “The Motion” and the sixth song “Na Na Na”.
While JR has been on two of Tre’s song in the past, this will be the first time that Tre will be on one of JR’s songs.
One aspect I like about this collab is that Tre is a CT guy, a Notre Dame West Haven graduate, and JR is from Maine. Seeing different or the same New England states work together to make great music is always great to see whether it be Spose and Chris Webby or Sammy Adams and Dylan Reese.
JR is set to graduate at the end of the summer so this could be his last song as a UConn Husky which is also very intriguing. I am so fired up for 4/28 to listen to Red Solo Funk.
