Kirk Minihane Announces His New Team For The Dozen Trivia
Team Minihane 2.0 has been announced.
In the first season of The Dozen Trivia, Team Minihane was the second seeded team right behind Frank and the Frankettes. Team Minihane was carried by one of the leagues best players, Kirk Minihane.
Kirk was dragged down by mediocre talent all around in The Saugus Rocket Jared Carrabis, the now deceased S.E. Robinson, and received solid contribution from Rico Bosco who only played for Team Minihane in the playoffs.
In team Minihanes first round matchup, they lost a 13 to 9 battle to Team Misfits which consisted of Reags, Dante, and Hank. The Misfits would go onto lose to the Big Screaming Honkers in the finals.
After the loss, Kirk decided that he wanted Rico Bosco and Jared Carrabis with him for season two but, that’s when all hell broke loose. Rico went and turned his back on Kirk so he was given a swift kick in the ass off the team. With Rico gone, Kirk turned to Rico’s enemy who is no longer at Barstool, friend of My Parents Office, the Big Man on Campus Jeff Nadu. More chaos ensued and when Jeff slighted Kirk, he exiled him from Team Minihane.
It looked like Team Minihane was just looking for a third teammate but with Jared Carrabis being distant from the show, Kirk decided to gut the squad and search for two new teammates. Well, today on the Kirk Minihane Show, he announced his new teammates.
Holy shit. Two new teammates that no minifan would have guessed. When Kirk announced that he had his two teammates figured out around two weeks ago, I was expecting people he had a prior relationship with like Jerry Thornton, KFC, or even Riggs.
Kirk has created a team of people that are HATED, LOATHED, and DESPISED in the Barstool office. Trysta has gotten into her fair share of spats while at Barstool, I don’t really know why Pat is hated but I guess he is, and Kirk is Kirk.
This new squad has more depth than prior ones that Kirk played with. Kirk is phenomenal when it comes to movies, golf, and really anything prior to 1995. Trysta will help with modern day sports, most importantly NBA, and Pat will be solid for wildcard categories.
As a minifan, I’m so fired up to watch this squad get under every other teams skin and take home this seasons Championship.
