Kirk Minihane Announces Season Two Of The Case Podcast
The Case returns for season two to cover disturbing acts committed by the Stoughton Police.
Watertown, MA - Barstool Sports and podcaster Kirk Minihane have announced season two of their true crime podcast, The Case. Minihane will be covering the death of 23 year old Sandra Birchmore who reportedly committed suicide in February of 2021 in he Canton, MA apartment.
Birchmore was 13 years old when she met Stoughton police officer Matthew Farwell and when Birchmore was 15, Farwell allegedly began an inappropriate relationship with her. Farwell was 27 at the time. It’s reported that multiple other officers preyed on Birchmore in the Stoughton Police Department, including Matthews twin brother William Farwell and Robert C. Devine.
When Birchmore allegedly committed suicide in February of 2021, she was pregnant. It’s unclear on how far along she was in the pregnancy and who the father of the child was. It appears that Minihane will be diving into Birchmores death and trying to figure out if she actually died from suicide.
Last season of The Case ended in a successful manner as Minihanes research led to the arrest of Kevin Maler in South Carolina. The season originally began with Minihane and his producer S.E. Robinson covering the disappearance of 16 year old Brockton, MA native Jennifer Lynn Fay in 1988. It then led Minihane to Walhalla, SC to investigate the deaths of April Norton Jones and Kevin Kyle Craig.
With how successful season one of The Case was, expectations are very high for Minihane leading into season two. I can’t even express how excited and thrilled I am to learn about this case at hand as it’s so recent and heinous
