Menaker To Transfer From Albany
Sophomore pitcher Kyle Menaker is transferring from the University of Albany to Niagara County Community College.
Enfield native and former University of Albany pitcher Kyle Menaker entered into the transfer portal a day after the Great Danes season ended with a loss to NJIT and Stony Brook in the America East Conference tournament.
Just days later, Menaker announced via Instagram that he would be committing to Niagara County Community College and pitch for the Thunder Wolves next spring. Menaker captioned the picture of the schools logo with “When a chapter ends, another one begins #jucoproduct”.
When I asked Menaker about his future at NCCC, he said that he felt it was “best for his future”. In the past when I’ve talked to Kyle about NCCC, he spoke very highly of the coaching staff and the plan they’re setting him up with to get back into his groove. This move could be massive for Kyle and as his friends it’s an exciting thing to see.
