Here we go! One of my favorite weekends of the whole year is Masters weekend and unfortunately for this one, I will be spending it making ground beef and slinging steaks to Big Y customers but that won’t stop me from watching the Masters app on my fifteen minute break.

While having the Masters in the middle of college football season, which is the GREATEST time of the year, was dope, it didn’t have the typical Masters feel so I am amped up for it to be back in its normal slot.

Now, if Tiger Woods was playing this weekend, he would be my favorite. Even if he hobbled out of the hospital today and said he was ready, I would take him because when Tiger plays at Augusta National, special things happen.

But, Tiger isn’t playing so my favorite, my pick to win a green jacket is Jordan Spieth. He won last weekend at the Texas Open and he is hot. I also like his experience at Augusta. He was the 2015 Masters Champion.

Last weekend he finished at 18 under and I think he can carry that momentum into golfs most anticipated tournament. He has 11/1 odds to be this years champ and I think he’ll be putting on his second green jacket on Sunday.

Now, if Spieth doesn’t pull through, my sleeper pick for the Masters is Paul Casey at 35-1 odds to win. He is a solid golfer that has finished as high as fourth at the Masters but, the reason I am picking the Arizona State alumni is due to how shallow the field is.

DeChambeau is one of the favorites and he played pretty shitty at last years Masters. He has little control on the tee box while he crushes his drives.

Then, Dustin Johnson is another favorite who won last year but, I can’t see him repeating with only 5 months between his last Masters win.

I would love to see Casey claim his first green jacket and join an elite club but, I think that Spieth is due for a major tournament win. His last came at the 2017 Open Championship so I am putting all my eggs into Spieths basket.
