Michigan Wolverines, Myles Amine wrestled tough against Nebraskas Eric Schultz to win his first ever Big Ten Title at 197. With the 7-3 win, the sixth year senior Amine finally gets to stand at the top of the podium.
In his post match interview, Amine was glowing with pride because he wrestles for the Wolverines and gets to wear the blue and maze like his family members. He feels like the “big brother” of the Wolverines being a sixth year but said “some of my best friends are freshman on this team, I love this squad.”
Amine could get the number one seed for Nationals but will face challengers like Schultz, Warner, and A.J Ferrari so 197 could be an extremely entertaining weight class that any of those four guys could come out of.
