Today we come to an end of this series with some of the leagues most powerful teams, the NFC West.
Arizona Cardinals Tight End Maxx Williams: Arizona has a lot of fire power on their offense at the receiver position but tight end will be a huge factor in the Cardinals success in a very tough division.
Last season Maxx Williams played in nine games and only caught 8 balls for 102 yards that went for 1 touchdown. Not awesome but he was also splitting time with Dan Arnold who just signed with Carolina. He’ll be huge on underneath check down routes when Hopkins and Kirk aren’t open.
Williams will be a big time factor on third down and on the goal line so I think he’ll catch 45 balls for 460 yards and 5 touchdowns. Williams will also be a massive factor in the run game as a lead blocker.
Los Angeles Rams Running Back Darrell Henderson Jr.: With Cam Akers out for the year and Malcolm Brown not on the Rams anymore, Henderson will be the clear cut number one back in the City of Angels.
Last season, the Memphis alum went for 783 scrimmage yards and 6 total touchdowns in fifteen games. This was also while splitting time with Brown and Akers which created a three head monster in the backfield. Now with those two out of the picture, Henderson will be a big time back, possibly top fifteen.
I predict that Henderson will rush for 850 yards next season and record 360 receiving yards while tallying 11 total touchdowns in all seventeen games.
San Francisco 49ers Wide Receiver Brandon Aiyuk: I really like Brandon Aiyuk, a lot. He’s fast, shifty, and is a spectacular athlete that will have a big time season after kind of being overshadowed last year because he was in a massive receiver class with Claypool, Jefferson, and Lamb.
Aiyuk will play second fiddle to Deebo Samuel but that won’t hurt his production. In twelve games last year, Aiyuk caught 60 balls for 748 yards and 5 touchdowns while also rushing for 77 yards and 2 touchdowns. His versatility could turn Samuel and Aiyuk into a top eight receiving duo in the NFL.
With Aiyuk being a Swiss army knife, if he can stay healthy then I think that he’ll catch 76 balls and turn that into 960 yards for 8 touchdowns. I also believe he’ll rush for 175 yards and 1 touchdown.
Seattle Seahawks Guard Damien Lewis: The Seahawks offensive line is not great to say the least. The one bright and shining star on that unit is second year player Damien Lewis who can play all three interior positions.
On 967 snaps last season, Lewis only allowed three sacks which is pretty good for a rookie in an intense division when you’re blocking for a scrambling quarterback. The one thing Lewis needs to do is not commit as many penalties. He committed twelve last season so if he can scale that back he’ll be golden.
I think Lewis will play and start all seventeen games for Seattle and allow two sacks, one at the hands of Aaron Donald and the other at the hands of Arik Armstead.
