Sasso Cradles His Way To The Finals

Ohio States 149 is headed to the finals.

Well, Sammy Sasso just proved why he’s the number one seeded 149 this weekend. He stepped on the mat for his semifinal’s match against Boo Lewallen from Oklahoma State and made him pay.

Four minutes into the match, Sasso brought Lewallen’s forehead to his knee and locked up a tight cradle. It took a few seconds to send him to his back but, when he did, Lewallen had no shot.

He got the fall, punching his ticket to the finals.

Then, a few mats over, Austin O’Connor out of North Carolina beat Missouris Brock Mauller, 2-1 in overtime.

I am pretty jacked up for this big time one vs two matchup between Sammy Sasso and Austin O’Connor at 149. My prediction here is that O’Connor wins 4-3 off of a late takedown, bringing at National Title to Chapel Hill.
