The College Version of Josh McCown Finds His Fourth Home Since 2015
Veteran tight end, Daniel Imatorbhebhe just transferred to Kansas State, which is his fourth school since 2015.
Well, tight end Daniel Imatorbhebhe, is on the move, again, to nobody’s surprise. His career reminds me of Big Cat playing NCAA 2014 and having Coach Gus Duggerton bounce from conference to conference. Much like Coach Duggs, Imatorbhebhe is doing his conference tour.
Imatorbhebhe committed to the University of Florida in 2015 but, red shirted and didn’t stick around in Gainesville for long. He transferred out to Los Angeles to play for the USC Trojans and was a break out player in their 2016 Rose Bowl run. While at USC, he recorded 25 catches for 394 yards and 4 touchdowns in two seasons and he then decided it was time to head out.
He reentered the transfer portal in 2020 and found his third home in Champaign, Illinois as a member of the fighting Illini. He didn’t make a huge splash this past season when he only recorded 3 catches for 54 yards and 1 touchdown. Maybe, Illinois wasn’t the right fit, like USC and Florida were so, Imatorbhebhe entered the transfer portal again.
Now, in 2021 and in his 6ht year as a college athlete, Imatorbhebhe is hoping that he can catch more than 3 passes while playing for Kansas State. If he has a break out season then hopefully, he can get an invite to next years Senior Citizen Bowl that is sponsored by Metamucil.
In all seriousness, I hope Kansas State works out for Imatorbhebhe but, this is not the way college athletes should approach the game. Running away from competition is not the way to go about playing football or doing anything in your life.
