The Hoyas Are Dancing
Georgetown continues their Cinderella run and is headed to the tournament.
Patrick Ewing and the Georgetown Hoyas are headed to the big dance for the first time since 2015. The Hoyas shellacked Creighton in the Big East finals last night with a 73-48 win.
The Hoyas were led by Jahvon Blair off the bench who had 18 points and 5 rebounds. Blair was accompanied by forward Chudier Bile who racked up 19 points and 8 rebounds and center Qudus Wahab with a double double.
As for the Blue Jays, Marcus Zegarowski was the lone star as he dropped 17 points with 4 rebounds and 4 assists.
Now, it looks like four teams will make the tournament out of the Big East since the Hoyas win. Villanova will be a top seeded squad, Uconn and Creighton will be middle of the pack, and Georgetown could be anywhere from 10-13.
The Hoyas have looked extremely sharp and have played with a great amount of energy this whole tournament. This team could break some brackets and upset big time squads. The Hoyas are ROLLING.
