The Kalamazoo Growlers Lay The HAMMER Down On Rob ManFraud While Frank "The Tank" Fleming Protests On MLB Headquarters
The uprising is starting.
And BOOM! The Kalamazoo Growlers hit MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred with the harshest punishment available; a lifetime ban from all future Growlers games.
In their statement that I have attached below, the Northwoods League collegiate team was inspired to ban ManFraud for life by fellow Northwoods team, the Bismark Larks who did the same. This lifetime ban from the Growlers prevents ManFraud from ever stepping foot in Homer Stryker Field.
Kalamazoo stated that they “have been committed to using fun to make a difference, and Rob Manfred has shown his commitment to the opposite.” They also add “Amid the MLB lockout, Manfred and the MLB team owners have shown only an interest in money and not providing baseball for their players and fans. They are trying to ruin baseball simply for their financial gain.”
The Growlers PR team concluded the harsh, yet proper statement with “The Growlers will host their first home game this season on June 1st. The Growlers look forward to continuing to grow the game of baseball through fun and putting fans first. The team looks forward to seeing you at the ballpark this summer… but not Rob Manfred.”
I LOVE IT.
While I haven’t really followed the lockout and have essentially no clue what is going on, I love seeing the Growlers and Larks step on the throat of a selfish and money hungry person like Rob ManFraud.
Maybe this act by the Growlers and Larks could push the hands of other Northwoods League teams to do the same. Who’s next? Maybe the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders will issue a ban, or the Mankato MoonDogs. Could we see the Minnesota Mud Puppies and Traverse City Pit Spitters take action? We’ll have to wait and see.
In addition to the Growlers and Larks burying and dancing on ManFrauds grave, Barstool Sports personality Frank “The Tank” Fleming led a march on MLB headquarters in New York.
Frank carried two signs. One reading “Rob Manfred Hates Baseball”, the other saying “ManFraud Laughs Baseball Dies”. He led a small group, headlined by Coach Duggs who held a sign saying “ManFraud Out” and Jersey Jerry who carried a “Frank Is The Sign! #THESIGNS” sign. This small protest eventually turned into a larger protest on the MLB headquarters front steps.
Frank The Tank led chants against his enemy ManFraud while walking in circles with other protestors cheering for him. Other news outlets came out to cover the protest as it began to make waves in the MLB community.
Frank The Tank, Jersey Jerry, and Coach Duggs are the heroes we need to get baseball back, but certainly aren’t the ones we deserve. It’s great to see people and teams come together and stand for what they really believe in.
