Way To Early College Football Playoff Prediction
Yes we are 11 months away from the National Championship but, I can’t get enough off it so, here is my way to early preview of the College Football Playoff.
Look, I’m really not a hockey guy and baseball is a take it or leave it sport for me but, football, especially college football really gets me going. So, because I cannot get enough of it, I am going to give you my way to early College Football Playoff.
1. Clemson Tigers: While I hate that college football has been run by the same teams the past few seasons, I respect it. Clemson has a stud a quarterback in D.J Uiagalelei who will win them a national championship next season and possibly the season after that. He excelled against a great Notre Dame defense last season in South Bend and showed his poise and composure.
Unless the Irish are in the ACC next season, no one in this conference will challenge the Tigers. With a boat load of starters on defense coming back, they will shut down quarterbacks like Malik Cunningham and Sam Howell on their way to winning the ACC and a National Title.
2. Florida Gators: Yup, you read that right. The Gators will lose one game next season but, beat Florida in the SEC Championship and be the two seed in next years playoff. Dan Mullen cleaned up in the transfer portal by grabbing big names including former 5 star tight end, Arik Gilbert.
While Heisman finalist Kyle Trask is leaving Gainesville, they have Emory Jones throwing the rock who will have a break out season and be a finalist for the Heisman Trophy. With a decent amount of starters returning and a good coaching staff, the Gators will make a 2008 esque run at a title.
3. Notre Dame Fighting Irish: Yes, this is my bias to my favorite team to route for and I do not care because, they have a boat load of talent on both sides of the ball. Ian Book maybe gone but, the second coming of Ian is here and his name is Drew Pyne.
The Irish have a difficult schedule next season as they play Cincinnati, UNC, USC, Wisconsin, and Florida State but, I think that they end the season undefeated off the back of Kyren Williams. They won’t be a two seed because, they don’t have a conference championship but, they will get the three seed.
4. USC Trojans: Well, this is where the shake up begins. The Crimson Tide will finish ranked 5th and demolish who ever they matchup with in an NY6 Bowl but, the Trojans will finish with one loss to the Irish but, I think Kedon Slovis will absolutely ravage the PAC 12.
Slovis will have an awesome season and hopefully break the trend of USC playing down to their opponents. I mean, if USC wins the PAC 12 championship and make the playoff, they will get 50 burgered by Clemson. When the Trojans make the playoff next year they will be the first PAC 12 team to make the playoffs since 2017.
Next season will be super exciting, like every other season for myself but, hopefully there is a shake up in the top 4 teams. That’s what I want to see along with the rest of the nation but, in all reality, the Crimson Tide will probably role their way to the playoffs and I pray that that doesn’t happen.
