Week Nine College Football Gambling Picks Recap

Gambling is a fickle bitch. Last week I went 4-0 and was on top of the world. And this weekend, I went 1-3 with my lock of the week being the only pick that hit. My record goes from 15-10 to 16-13.

Thank God Notre Dame was able to gut out a win over UNC this weekend. Along with them winning, they also covered the 3.5 point spread. I guess I can always rely on Notre Dame and Brian Kelly. Who knew.

The Irish won 44-34 off the back of running back Kyren Williams who rushed for 199 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.

Now let’s look at the losers.

I really liked undefeated and nationally ranked SMU staying in state to go play Houston in a pick em game, but nope, they let me down. They lost in a shootout 44-37 and Clayton Tune lit them up for 412 yards and 4 touchdowns.

In the ACC, I picked Boston College +6.5 on the road against Syracuse and I learned something this weekend from their 21-6 loss. And that is that BC is just garbage now.

After they lost to Clemson it was like their season went to shit and means nothing to them now. I will never, NEVER bet the BC Eagles again…at least this season.

And the final one stays in the ACC. I had Wake Forest vs Duke over 69.5 points and they tallied a total 52 total points in the Demon Deacons 45-7 win. Just absolute demoralizing.

Guess we’ll just bounce back next week.
