Well, the Titans offense looks absolutely unstoppable at the moment. Mike Vrabel and the Titans front office went out and made a deal with the Atlanta Falcons to bring All Pro receiver Julio Jones to Nashville along with a 2023 sixth round pick in exchange for a 2022 second rounder and a 2023 fourth round selection.
With this addition, the Titans offense becomes extremely dangerous. They have one of the best receivers of the past ten years on one side in Julio and a young, rising star in AJ Brown on the other with Josh Reynolds in the slot. At tight end, Anthony Firsker and in the backfield they have the BIG, the BAD, DERRICK HENRY!
Jones expressed how he wanted out of Atlanta and wanted to be on a team with a quarterback who has a big arm and can throw deep. Many people may not think that Tannehill fits that description but last season he was third in the league in throws over forty yards.
For Atlanta, it really is wild that the best player in their franchises history wanted out as bad as he did. Maybe if they had drafted at quarterback at four like Justin Fields then he would have had more of a reason to stick around but I think after last season, Jones was ready.
Could Julio Jones and AJ Brown go for over one thousand receiving yards each and have Derrick Henry go for over two thousand on the turf? It doesn’t seem likely but if any group of players is going to do it, it’ll be this trio.
